Brief: To design an environmentally friendly piece of sandwich packaging. Opposed to the plastic thermoformed package used by other companies.

Client: Pret a Manger.

Solution: A flat packed box that opens into a sandwich wedge shape.
The pack is designed to bow out at the sides when opened for easy access to the sandwich.

The pack can also be used as a plate.
The package uses a minimal amount of carton making it environmentally friendly.

The long life sandwich pack is another way of packaging a sandwich in an air tight container. A flat carton is folded in on itself creating a wedge shape with no gaps or holes that air can penetrate. The box has flaps which fold down and heat seal to a carton top.
